BIAS FREE Co-op is offering a fully inclusive program of summer activities to introduce youth age 15+ and children 10-14 to the
BIAS FREE Framework
and how to use it to put human rights into action at home, at school, at work and in the community.
Our Leaders in Training (LIT) program, Levels I and II for youth age 15+, will be held during July. We invite Youth who complete Level II
of the LIT program and demonstrate interest and expertise to explore opportunities to work with us.
Children 10-14 are invited to participate in our Peace Camp at the end of July and beginning of August.
All sessions for youth and children cost $250/week and take place in the fully accessible Bronson Centre,
211 Bronson Ave. In Ottawa, Canada. There are limited spaces, so please register early!
We are also offering our 1/2 and full day Diversity Days program to children's programs
being run by summer camps, community centres and schools. The cost to organisations is just $100 for 1/2 day or $200 for a full day.
We supply all the materials and come to your venue.

The BIAS FREE Cooperative is looking for enthusiastic, energetic volunteers to join us in our efforts to rid the world from bias.
We need volunteers to help us with a variety of tasks such as organizing workshops, fundraising, and conducting research.
What are the benefits?
You will gain valuable work experience in the field of human rights. As a volunteer you will have the opportunity to participate in BIAS FREE workshops
and you will be able to enrol in a program to become a certified BIAS FREE trainer. If you are a student or planning on furthering your studies,
knowledge of the BIAS FREE Framework is a great asset for any area of research/study.

Contribute an example of bias for the database:
The BIAS FREE Database is an open resource of examples of bias found at all levels of research, legislation, program, policy, practice, or service delivery,
in any field of work or area of life. We encourage anyone to submit examples of bias, coming from their personal experience or examples that they have
heard/read about, to the database. The database is a public domain and its success depends on contributions from its users.
If you would like to submit an example of bias, please fill in the bias example submission form and email it to
the database manager at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once we receive your example we will review it to make sure that all parts are complete and accurate. When we are satisfied that the example is written up
correctly we will publish it on the database and it will be visible on our website with all the other examples.
